This is a youngster, or rather a big kid, who has just stopped playing with toys and started dreaming of becoming an astronaut. A 7-year-old eagerly breenging his way forward to get to the front of the spirits line. The enthusiasm of childhood dominates the sensations and feelings and reminds us of a distilled spirit. Take care to set aside any prejudices before approaching this spirit, strive for the same openness of a child encountering a new aroma, a new smell… a new experience.
It demands an emotionally engaged tasting. Technique should be merely an aid here. Admittedly, it's very young, but at the same time it's really rich, oily, very rounded and mature for its age. On the nose pear drops, leather and fragrant malt develop and engulf you like a breathtaking view that opens up suddenly as you round the bend of a mountain.
On the palate, powdery spices, ginger, orange blossom and a hint of biscuit. It flaunts excellent ties between nose and palate, combining fruit and sweet bread.
