For the second time, a Panamanian rum joins us on our adventures. Then again, with its canal, its literature and its history, Panama is a mainstay in the collective imagination of the Caribbean. A lavish nose, hints of Peking duck, soufflé and even popcorn popping. And later, restrained until the very moment the spirit hits the glass, balsamic, fruity tones - partially dormant, not yet fully evolved.
A middle land where nature manifests itself in bizarre ways. This strip of land, its coasts lapped by two oceans, embraced by two worlds and shoehorned between the Americas. On the palate, the jumble of scents and tones with a delightful alcoholic pace strike an excellent balance. The same characteristics detected in the nose are confirmed in the mouth. Advanced balsamic, chlorophyllic notes, but white chocolate too, lacquer and ground coffee. It hasn't changed.
A certainty.
